Community Projects

A growing and popular trend recently is for groups to become involved in Community Projects or "Corporate Social Responsibility" events. This has a benefit for both parties involved, our community partners can get badly needed volunteer manpower whilst our client groups benefit from a real experience that engages people, requires them to work together closely as a team, is highly enjoyable, different and extremely rewarding, everyone wins and many group members have been introduced to the world of volunteering in their personal time as a direct result of one of these events.

Purpose

We see these kinds of community projects based events as a real life "win win" for all the parties involved. These events are extremely effective at engaging participants in a powerful and compelling team activity with a real outcome that's fun and challenging in a different way to being on the ropes course for example. At the same time the participants can contribute back to the community and the environment so that our volunteer and community partners benefit from having some much needed man/woman power! Finally these kinds of activities allow your business to grow its reputation for being a considerate and socially responsible partner for volunteer organisations at a grass roots level, it's a rare opportunity for good news all round.

Methodology

VerticalAir Corporate Projects connect Team Building, Corporate Social Responsibility and make a real difference in the community. Such Events necessitate that we work closely with you from start to finish. Through close liaison in the planning process we enable you to identify the right project or projects for your team in the right location with the right theme; eg. A garden makeover for a pensioner, laying paths and coppicing for the National Trust, sponsored outdoor activity days and dinners raising money for 3rd world projects.

We run such Events for groups of between 10 and 150 people. All Corporate projects are meticulously risk assessed as a vital facet of the planning and programming process. We provide experienced and adept staff on the action day/s to supervise everyone’s safety, and to ensure a successful, rewarding and memorable outcome for all parties.
